Paediatrician, Lecturer and Researcher
Carla Rêgo is a Paediatrician at Hospital CUF Porto. She is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Porto, and at the Portuguese Catholic University and a researcher for ProNutri – CINTESIS. Carla authored several works presented in national and international meetings and scientific articles published in indexed magazines, as well as book chapters and prefaces. She co-authored a book on paediatric obesity addressed to the general public. Carla Rêgo is a member of some national and international scientific societies and president of the Grupo Nacional para o Estudo e Investigação da Obesidade Pediátrica (GNEIOP) – National group for childhood obesity study and research).
