Mary Louise Higgins has worked for WWF for 23 years and has lived in Colombia for 20 of those years. She works as the WWF Northern Amazonas & Choco Darien Subregional Program Manager since 2010.
For the past years, Mary Higgins has promoted the development of proposals against climate change and the reduction of the ecological footprint in both the country and the region. She is a biologist from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Entomology from the University of California at Berkeley.
